Welcome to the Menorah Christian Fellowship Website

We are pleased to present an opportunity to listen to Bible Studies and sermons on many

different topics on this website.  Many of the recordings start with the greeting, 'Shalom, shalom'

This would have been the greeting that Jesus would have used.  It means 'Peace be with you''.

We pray that you will be greatly blessed through these teachings.

We are very pleased to announce that all the Bible Studies are now available.

Below you will find short descriptive summaries of each of the series. To access

the whole list, please click on 'Bible Studies' in the header above.

Then click on the title of the Series you wish to open.

Some of the recordings were made using a tape recorder and the Bible studies have two distinct parts a and b (occasionally a third part c) In these cases please
click on part a to start the recording and click on part b immediately after the end of part a  .  Other Bible Studies using an mp3 recorder form a single recording

Short descriptive summaries

End Times Doctrines

Including Revelation and Zechariah

We believe that God gave us a vision to distribute the true teaching of the End Times Doctrines to the Jewish people and the church worldwide. Each believer has a

responsibility to know the truth revealed in God’s Word.  It is essential that this is preached everywhere so that as many as will respond to Jesus have a chance before

the Rapture.  It is essential that a record is given and left behind with those that will have to go through The Great Tribulation to bring them to faith before the end.

All unbelievers will be left behind at the Rapture.  They need to be able to recognise the truth as the prophesied events unfold during The Great Tribulation.

The Jews will be restored to centre stage of God’s plan.  The first prophesied return of the Jews to Israel is in unbelief, as has been occurring since the late 19th century.

The unbelieving nation will face The Time of Jacob’s Trouble (The Great Tribulation) but in the second prophesied return of the Jews, when Jesus comes back, they

will return in belief “and so all Israel shall be saved”

There are 50 bible studies on the book of Revelation and 13 on the book of Zechariah with cross references to almost every other book in the Bible.

You may have read the “Left Behind” series of books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B Jenkins and wondered if these were based on the truth revealed in God’s Word.

From these studies you will be able to judge for yourselves that they are true to the book of Revelation

The Ark of the Covenant

These three studies trace the history of the Ark of the Covenant from the time of its construction through to its disappearance.  They emphasise the symbolism

in the Ark and its place in the Tabernacle and the Temple and its importance to God and to the children of Israel. In all parts of this series, The Spirit Filled

Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

Basic Bible Studies

This series is based on a format originally devised by the late Roger Price of Chichester Christian Fellowship.  Menorah Christian Fellowship acknowledges the

tremendous help received from his teachings under the obvious inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

The first section, BBS 1 to BBS 14, deals with the need for salvation (being ‘born again’) and how to come into the Kingdom of God,  the fact that Jesus dealt

with every issue separating mankind from God

The third section gives examples of how God keeps His promises.  Many of the prophecies which God gave in the Old Testament days have already been fulfilled.

These examples of God’s faithfulness, give us faith to believe that He will definitely fulfil all the prophecies still to be fulfilled

The original section 4 of ‘unfulfilled prophecy’ has been covered in much greater detail and depth in the Revelation and Zechariah Series (both make up

The End Times Doctrines Series)

Section 5 details different aspects of God’s character, such as omnipotence, omnipresence, eternality, immutability, faithfulness and love.  The concept of the

Trinity, which most people find very difficult to fully understand, is considered in depth.

Section 6 considers the Word of God, its importance and how to study it.  The important concept of dispensations, which makes the Word of God easier to

understand  is covered in detail

Section 7 explains how to grow up in Christ.  At salvation, the Holy Spirit enters us, to indwell us and He touches our dead spirit and brings it to life but it is

like a spiritual baby inside us.  Like any baby, this spiritual baby needs to grow up and mature

Section 8 gives a description of a stable and mature Christian and how each one of us can achieve maturity.

Colossians

In this letter, Paul emphasises the power and authority of Jesus as creator and Lord.  He speaks out robustly against the wrong doctrines, which false teachers are

trying to introduce into the church at Colosse.  He emphasises the completeness of Jesus and the walk of victory available to any believer.  Christ, as the One True

Potentate is the Sustainer of the Universe, is its uniting Principle, is the Grand Unified Theory and unites all believers into one family.   In all parts of this series,

The Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version)

Fire

This is a most controversial topic with some churches calling for fire to come down from heaven.  This study examines the legitimacy and wisdom of this

practice by looking at all bible references to fire.  Allowing the Bible to interpret itself, a very clear emphasis throughout the Bible emerges as to the

interpretation of ‘fire’.  In all parts of this series, The Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

Fellowship Life Studies

This series covers the most important aspects of church life or fellowship.  Body ministry, how to deal with the unruly and how to look after the poor and

needy are among the most important concepts dealt with.

Giants of Genesis 6

This is a small passage in the Bible but contains a fascinating study on who the giants were and why they no longer exist. In all parts of this series,

The Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

God’s order Established in our Land

As Christians we are in a minority and we often feel helpless to change situations which appear to be controlled by the forces of this world or the forces

of darkness.  Our God is a God of order and discipline and of great power, as well as being love, comfort and compassion.  We are not helpless and may

be the only hope for our nation.  In all parts of this series, The Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

The Gospel of Luke

There are four Gospels, all dealing with the time of Jesus from His birth to His ascension.  They are all written with a different emphasis. Matthew

emphasises the Jewishness of Jesus, the fulfilment of the prophecies of Messiah.  Mark emphasises that Jesus is ‘The Son of Man’ as well as the

Messiah of Israel and encourages all disciples to do as Jesus taught them. John emphasises knowing  God by believing in Jesus Christ.  He implores

disciples to believe, bear witness and live as Jesus taught.  The Gospel of Luke emphasises Jesus as the Saviour of the World.

In the four gospels there is much agreement and overlapping of incidents but there are many examples where details in one gospel are not in others.

I chose Luke’s gospel because Luke, who also wrote the Acts of the Apostles, only included in his writings accounts which could be verified by eye witnesses.

I have at times used other gospels to try to get a more detailed view of a situation.

Healing

Healing is a very divisive topic.  There are many who have not been healed, who will declare that, ‘God does not heal’ while many others who have

been miraculously healed will declare that, ‘God stills heals today as He did in Jesus’ earthly ministry.’  This series does not teach anyone’s experience

but explores the truths of God’s Word on healing.  In parts 1 to 7 of this series, the Authorised King James version of the Bible was used and in part 8

The Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

Hebrews

The book of Hebrews makes a most thrilling study.  It is in Hebrews where we learn more about the Jewishness of Jesus than in any other book.

Hebrews gives us a much deeper understanding of the Old Testament and how it foretells the New Testament. We learn how God used the the

Old Testament tabernacle and temple to give us deep insight into Jesus  .Hebrews 8:13 says,’In that He says “A new covenant”.  He has made the

first obsolete’ This  letterwas written to Jews who were trying to return to the Old Testament sacrificial system.  This letter emphatically states

that this is a new dispensation, a new covenant. Jesus had fulfilled all. We are invited into the throne room of God, the inner Sanctum of God Almighty.

Hallelujah!

Jewish Festivals

These festivals were instituted by God in the Old Testament.  They were given to the nation of Israel.  The significance of these festivals then

and now is studied for each festival and conclusions reached as to who should or should not now be keeping them.  In some cases, the question

arises if it is possible to fulfil the instructions for the festival or if an adaptation is possible or appropriate. In all parts of this series, The Spirit Filled

Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

Rehabilitation

There is a chorus to an old hymn which says, ‘From sinking sands, He lifted me.  With tender hands, He lifted me.  From shades of night to plains

of light, oh, praise His Name, He lifted me.’ We progress from darkness to light in our Christian life and the process is designed by God, following

basic principles for each one;- repentance, salvation, adoption, baptisms, growth of faith and death of self, leading ultimately to maturity and total

victory.  In all parts of this series, The Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

Role of Women in God’s Kingdom

This is a very divisive topic throughout the church today as it has been for many centuries.  It is time that women, who make up half of the body

of Jesus, the Church, should know God’s word on this.  There are a few passages of the Bible which are extremely influential in the doctrine which

claims that women should remain silent in all services where men are present.  These passages are studied in detail.  In all parts of this series, The

Spirit Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.

Song of Solomon

There are many beautiful teachings based on this book.  The teachings are often supported by other areas of the Bible but many are not supported

by this book.  It is a beautiful book and its true interpretation is glorious. In all parts of this series, the Authorised King James version of the

Bible was used.

This series examines the need and symbolism of all the parts of the Tabernacle and the various Temples built from the time of Solomon to the time of Jesus.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    It continues with the New Testament fulfilment of Jesus as the Temple and believers as the temple of the Holy Spirit.  In all parts of this series, The Spirit                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Filled Life Bible (New King James Version) was used.   Christian, you will find this series very enlightening and help you to see things in a different light                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              which will help to clarify many concepts which may have been puzzling you and which you may have had to put to one side awaiting an answer.                                                                                                          We do believe that the Lord God Almighty wants to answer these questions.  Sit back, listen and enjoy
